In order to become a Moguls Coach you will need to be either an ASSI/BASI (or similar) or do a 2 day skilful skiing course. You should also be aware that you will need a first aid qualification, from a course of no less than 2 days duration. There is also a requirement to do a judges course for coaches. However, it does not matter which order these courses are done in. In order to register your qualification, and benefit for the liability insurance you will be required to have a CRB Check. The judges course is done on a part correspondance basis, once you complete this form a CD will be sent to yourself. It will contain the FIS judges manual and a powerpoint presentation of video clips and accepted score ranges. Once you have this you will need to look through the material until you are happy with it. On Nov 17th at 19:00 the course will conclude via Internet/Telephone Conference (you will need broadband net access). This will ensure you have read the material and to answer an questions you may have about the documentation.
