There will be a Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration of David's Life at Kendal Parish Church on Thursday 14th March 2019 (Time 3.30 TBC).

Many of us remember David from his time in Cumbria Youth Service, working to promote Outdoor Education through DofE, Canoeing, Sailing, Skiing and much mor...e.

David was one of life's true gentleman a real giver and doer, he will be remembered and missed by a huge number of us that were touched by his life.

  8. Just a little woodland update

We have got the planning permission to fell some trees in the woodland to let more light down to ground level.

So we will get on with that shortly and use most of the timber to make habitats for creepy crawlies.

We have ordered a load of saplings that the birds and bees will enjoy. They should be here in a week or so, then we would like to get them in the ground in fairly short order. It was a job lot of trees, far more than we need but it was a bargain! If anyone can think of any good homes for a number of hawthorn, blackthorn, crabapple, hazel, willow, rowan trees please let me know. We are wondering if any schools would be able to find room for some?

If anyone wants to give a hand with any of that it will be greatly appreciated.

    Just leave a contact here.
